Bonnie has been a physiotherapist for over 10 years and has helped many people achieve their goals. Bonnie wants to continue to help people in the Hills District make long-term changes to become the best version of themselves.
Bonnie is a passionate physiotherapist who started her own clinic in the Hills District. She believes that it is imperative to stay up to date with evidence-based healthcare to be able to provide the best care possible. Bonnie cares about each person that she sees and treats them as an individual. She provides excellent manual therapy skills and individualised exercise programs to be able to help each person achieve their goals.
Bonnie graduated from the University of Sydney in 2013. She completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Masters of Physiotherapy. Bonnie has always had a strong interest in treating neck and back pain. She has an interest in particularly persistent pain, but over the years has developed a keen interest in Women’s Health. Bonnie ensures she prioritises professional development and continues to attend courses to be able to provide up-to-date evidence-based healthcare, particularly in Women’s Health.
Bonnie is very family-oriented and in her spare time, she will usually be hanging out with her family and friends. Quality time with loved ones is her favourite time. Bonnie is a mum herself, giving birth to her beautiful baby boy Benjamin late 2022.
“All women should have access to quality and affordable healthcare, particularly in Women’s Health. This is an area of Physiotherapy that needs more awareness in the community. I believe that with hard work and the right support, we can all become the best version of ourselves.”
Areesha completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2019 from ACU and has since worked across hospital, community, aged care, and private practice settings to continue her passion and drive to help people reach their goals and get back to doing the things they love. She has a strong skillset in treating musculoskeletal injuries, headaches, vertigo, fracture casting, manual therapy and exercise prescription, focusing on shared goal-setting and a holistic approach to care.
Areesha’s newfound passion in the Women’s Health field has aspired her to further extend her knowledge to become a Women’s Health Physiotherapist when she started as the only female physiotherapist in a busy musculoskeletal clinic. With a predominantly female clientele, Areesha found women often confided in her about their private health concerns. This inspired her to deepen her expertise in women’s health and help women improve their quality of life. She found this whole learning process to be humbling as she felt she was not only with women during their highs but also their lows.
In her free time, Areesha enjoys hiking, spending time with her family and friends, watching horror movies, Bollywood dancing, painting, Henna art and occasionally performing music with her father. She also loves going to the gym – you will mostly catch her deadlifting heavier weights than her dad and she is about to run her first half marathon next year.
